Puppy Breeders in Devon
We are small, experienced family breeders of Cockapoos, Labradoodles and Boradors based in the beautiful rural Devon countryside. We’re passionate about animals and have a lifetime of experience working with dogs. We have an acre of land and are surrounded by woodland providing lots of opportunities for exercise and play. And they love a run on Dartmoor and a trip to the beach!
We have three breeding bitches, Ziggy and Lucky are Cockapoos, and Ace is a pedigree KC Registered chocolate Labrador. Our dogs live inside our home permanently as family pets alongside our two children. They enjoy round the clock love, care, exercise and attention.
Our dogs are DNA tested for inherited conditions including PRA and FN, Von Willebrand disease, Degenerative Myelopathy, Neonatal encephalopathy & Acral Mutilation Syndrome.
Our emphasis is on breeding happy and healthy family pets with great temperaments. Our puppies are reared inside the home and are used to the sights, sounds and hustle and bustle of family life. They receive lots of interaction, handling and socialisation with our children, other dogs and cat.
As a responsible puppy breeder in the UK, you can rest assured that your puppy is in great health. Before leaving us, our puppies given their first vaccinations, wormed, micro chipped and fully vet health checked & examined. These procedures ensure that every Buckland puppy has the best possible start in life.
Each puppy is sent to their new homes with a full puppy pack to include their family tree (pedigree), parents’ DNA test results, microchip details, puppy health record, small bag of food, worming schedule, scented blanket, sales receipt and contract of sale.
Giving a puppy a home is a life changing event and we are here to support you throughout that process. We are very selective about the families that we home our puppies with and love to keep in contact and receive regular updates from them.
Once you have paid your deposit to secure a puppy, you’re invited to join a closed Facebook group, where you can follow the progress of your puppy by viewing films, pictures and written updates. It also gives you the opportunity to connect with and share experiences with the owners of siblings from the same litter.
We are responsible for the puppies that we breed and, whenever necessary, will take them back, at any stage of their life. We are always available on the telephone or by email to offer advice and answer any questions.
